Hair Stylist

Ricky Lee Jones

With over 20 years of experience in the heart of London’s hair scene, Ricky is a true master of his craft. His journey began under the mentorship of industry legends Trevor Sorbie and Angelo Seminara at Trevor Sorbie’s flagship Covent Garden salon. After honing his skills for four years, he took his expertise to Taylor Taylor’s iconic Spitalfields salon, where he built a reputation for working with high-profile clients like Ellie Goulding, Zoe Ball, The Kills, Franz Ferdinand, KT Tunstall, and James Blunt.

Ricky’s commitment to precision and creativity soon positioned him as one of London’s most sought-after stylists. ' In 2010, Ricky co-founded the award-winning Jones & Payne salon in Shoreditch, where he not only managed operations but cultivated a loyal clientele. His creative flair also led him to become the official hairdresser for The XX, styling the band for music videos, photoshoots, and international tours, including iconic events like Glastonbury. Post-pandemic, Ricky embarked on an exciting new venture, merging his passion for hairdressing with natural hair care innovation. This vision became Naedlae Creative Hair Studio—a space where artistry, expertise, and holistic haircare come together, offering clients a truly unique and tailored experience.

Hair Stylist

Lisa Ind

My hairdressing career started at Trevor Sorbie in Covent Garden almost two decades ago. I got to experience and take part in the most inspiring creative projects with a diverse and talented team of hairdressers.
Four years later I made a spontaneous move to live in Barcelona where I also worked as a session stylist in fashion, film and editorial work. This was over a period of around 8 years and before deciding to settle back in London I took off for an adventure in South America where I found myself working in a creative hair studio in Bogota, Colombia. My colleagues having little experience in hair and more in the creative arts encouraged me to get involved in teaching which later became part of my role at Jones & Payne in London.

As a stylist I enjoy doing all different types of hair but specialise in creating soft textured looks. My aim is to create easy to manage styles that compliment your hair's natural movement.

Hair Stylist

Chris Sturdy

I began my hairdressing journey in 1997 at Toni & Guy Leeds, where I received an incredible foundation in the craft. During this time, I had the privilege of assisting Antony Mascolo at his London studio, working alongside some of the best in the industry. Eager to expand my experience, I moved to Brighton, where I refined my skills in several salons before permanently relocating to London. This move led me to Jones & Payne, where I discovered my passion for teaching and eventually became Head of Training. Mentoring aspiring stylists was one of the most rewarding parts of my career, and I had the privilege of guiding some truly talented individuals who have gone on to achieve remarkable success.

Like many in the industry, the pandemic prompted me to reassess my path, leading to an exciting new chapter. I am now based at Naedlae Studio as a freelance stylist, where I have the opportunity to work alongside Ricky Lee Jones, one of the founders of Jones & Payne. This fresh start allows me to focus on my craft in a more personalised setting, continuing to share my passion for hair while embracing new creative opportunities.

Colour Technician

Claire Bonney-Lucas

I began my hairdressing career 20 years ago, starting out as a Saturday girl before training and eventually specialising in colour. During my time at Headmasters, I became part of the Colour Art & Education team, joined the first L’Oréal Colour ID team and the Project X team, and completed the highest levels of both L’Oréal and Redken’s colour specialist programmes. In 2014, I moved to Radio Hair, where I spent six years as Colour Director, leading the colour team, participating in shoots and shows as part of the art team, and running training seminars—continuing my passion for teaching that began at Headmasters.

While Balayage and Highlights are among my most requested services, I believe hair colouring should go beyond trends. I focus on creating bespoke colours that complement an individual’s skin tone, style, and personality. Today, I split my time between Naedlae and Studio 90, working alongside my professional hair partner of nine years, Paris France—the scissors to my colour brush. Whether you’re after a subtle refresh or a bold transformation, I look forward to welcoming you soon.

Paris France

I began my hairdressing career in 2000 as an assistant at Vidal Sassoon, where I progressed through various roles within the salon and school, eventually becoming a Creative Director. This role allowed me to teach, travel, and refine my craft. After an incredible 11 years, I took a year out to explore South America, followed by a fun-filled season working in a beach restaurant in the South of France. Upon returning to London, I quickly re-joined the industry at Radio Hair Salon and Gallery as a Senior Creative Director. During my time there, I led the education team, created multiple collections, and worked on exciting shoots and fashion shows. A standout moment was styling hair for the McQueen exhibition opening night at the V&A, and in 2015, I won an award with Bumble and Bumble, which took me to New York.

Eager to expand my skills, I trained at Pinewood Studios in period hair and completed a makeup course, which I now integrate into my work. Today, I’m fully immersed in the freelance world, working at Naedlae every Friday and Saturday while also taking on a range of projects in hair and makeup, including fashion shoots, short films, adverts, music, and sport. I’m inspired by the variety this career offers but always value the one-on-one client experience. My cutting style is precise, tailored, and finished with a delicate touch, aiming to provide every client with a memorable experience.
